1. Who we are

AutoShopMS is a garage and auto shop management service owned by AutoShop Technologies. This policy explains what information we collect when you use AutoShopMS on the web, Android or Windows, and how we use it.

2. Information you give us

• Account details: your email address, username and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Shop profile: shop name, address, contact email and phone, GST and UAM numbers, logo and UPI ID, if you add them.
• Business records you enter: customers and their vehicles, bills, services, inventory, suppliers, purchases and remarks.
• Subscription payments: the plan you chose, the amount and the payment reference, and any payment screenshot you upload.

3. Information collected automatically

• A secure sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Basic technical logs such as IP address, time and request details, used for security, rate limiting and fixing problems.

4. How we use information

• To provide the Service: create bills, keep records, show reports and send the emails you ask for, such as verification codes.
• To confirm subscription payments and keep your plan active.
• To protect the Service, prevent abuse and keep each shop's data separate from every other shop.
• To contact you about your account, support requests or important changes.

5. Your customers' data

You decide which customer details you enter and you remain responsible for having their consent. We process this data only to provide the Service to you. Each shop can access only its own data.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example cloud hosting, database and email delivery), only as needed for that purpose, or when the law requires it.

7. Storage and security

Data is stored with our cloud hosting and database providers. Passwords and verification codes are stored as secure hashes, connections use HTTPS, and access to business data requires a signed-in session for that shop. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your records at any time from Reports. To delete your account and data, contact us using the details below.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page with its last updated date.
